Excellence (15apr2009 VeleBlog )
Tonight Lauren
started soccer practice. I can remember when I started baseball practice, back when I
was about 9 years old. Now kids start
earlier and practice longer. Will Lauren be excellent
at soccer? I don’t
know. I don’t
know how much time she will focus on the game.
How much time she’ll want to practice with me or Mommy. But I do know this:
Our Lauren has a purpose in life, and when she decides that she will spend the
10,000 hours to become excellent at her purpose, something magical is going to
happen. I hope
her effort is for God’s glory, no matter what it is.

We are working
with others to help change the way many PA students -- and even beyond PA – experience
their education. We’d
love to have your help. Wild Scholars MP3 (45 min) Wild Scholars slides (PDF) |
